Our organization is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve. ****Schedule:********PRN, 7pm-7am CST**** ****Compensation: per hour plus per encounter rate (1099 or W2)**** ****Location:********telehealth**** ****Responsibilities:**** * ****Must have interstate compact license.**** * The psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to diagnose mental health disorders. * Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications ensuring that treatment plans are effective and adjusted as needed * The psychiatrist will create individualized treatment plans that include medication management, psychotherapy, and other interventions. * Chart audits, peer review, meetings, provider management, etc. * The psychiatrist will maintain up to date medical records, ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and standards of care. * Maintain and monitor confidentiality of patients and their files; audit files to determine that all services provided are documented; review status of patients to verify that all treatment and therapeutic programs are completed. * The psychiatrist will work closely with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and staff to provide integrated and coordinated care. * Provide immediate psychiatric care in crisis situations, such as suicide attempts or acute psychiatric episodes, and work to prevent incidents through proactive mental health management * Endeavor to comply with the requirements of applicable regulations, laws, rules, procedures, policies, standards and/or contract. ### Qualifications: * Psychiatrist is required to have interstate compact license * 2 years of inpatient experience (trauma experience required) * Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry   * Valid and unrestricted DEA  * Must be proficient in using Telemedicine technologies to treat patients remotely * Open to PMHNP collaboration (preferred) Originally posted on [Himalayas](https://himalayas.app)
