Part Time Book Store Clerk I - $15 to $17 per Hour

**Job Description:** ==================== **Essential Functions:**  •    Restock shelves  •    Service customers face to face •    Operate cash register  •    Operate credit card machine •    Operate basic warehouse equipment, ex: pallet jack, tape gun, etc. •    Sort books and place in appropriate location(s) •    Must be able to work safely around moving equipment  •    Work in a non-climatically controlled environment throughout the year •    Must be able to stand/walk on concrete floors for entire shift **Other Responsibilities:** •    Fulfill donations •    Prep work for community events •    Adheres to facility hours to include overtime and weekends during holidays and special events (floating hours may vary each week) •    Other duties as assigned **Starting Salary:** $15 - $17 an hour. **Qualifications** ================== **Physical Requirements:**  •    Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. •    Refer to the Physical Demand Analysis  **Qualifications:**  •    Must be at least 18 years old •    Excellent communication skills and customer relation skills •    Literacy and math skills •    Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated •    Excellent organizational skills •    Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and maintain a positive attitude  •    Excellent attendance record **Time Type:** ============== Part time **Job Type:** ============= Regular **Job Family Group:** ===================== Facilities **Location Region/State:** ========================== Missouri **EEO Statement:** ================== Scholastic is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
