Please [click here](https://www.shrinerschildrens.org/en/locations?listPage=1) to learn more about our locations. **Job Description** **Job Summary** The Patient Access Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while performing various patient registration, scheduling, and admission functions to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience at Shriners Hospitals for Children. **Key Responsibilities** * Processes appointment requests for all types of outpatient appointments for new and established patients * Obtains patient consents * Performs registration of patients * Completes verification of insurance prior to patient arrival for services * Identifies uninsured patients to perform financial counseling * Assists with completing applications for external sources **Required Qualifications** * High School diploma * 1 year experience in scheduling and registration **Preferred Qualifications** * Bilingual (English/Spanish) Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
