Pharmacy Technician - Finglas West

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Pharmacy Technician** to join the team in our **Hickey's Cappagh, Finglas Pharmacy.** This is a **40-hour (Monday to Friday, every 3rd Saturday) Specified Purpose** position. The stores' opening hours operate between 9 am **to 7 pm Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday and are closed on Sunday.** The team currently comprises a **Managing Pharmacist, another part-time Technician role and 2 Sales Assistants.** This store has **manageable items and services.** **We can offer you:** * Competitive Hourly rates * Great Colleague Discount * Bike to work scheme * Uniform provided **The responsibilities of the role** * Be accurate with excellent attention to detail. * To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner. * Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements. * Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims. * Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary. **Requirements:** * Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply. * Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage). * IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy * Technician Studies an advantage **_If you would be interested in being considered for current or future vacancies within a pharmacist role, please apply or declare your interest to our Talent Acquisition Specialist Danielle Gillen at [email protected]_** _#Hickeys_
