You’ll receive a competitive salary, excellent benefits plus an amazing PNW lifestyle – a perfect combination! **FTE:** 60% **WORK SHIFT** Variable **PAY RANGE:** $26.36 - $39.04 **UNION:** UFCW 3000-Professional and Technical **SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS/PREMIUMS:** **Weekend & Holiday Shifts:** Yes **On Call Shifts:** No **Shift Differentials:** * Evening - $3.00/hour * Night - $5.00/hour * Weekend - $4.50/hour * Pharm Night - $8.50/hour **Premiums:** * Standby - $4.00/hour * Lead - $3.25/hour * Per Diem - 15% (on base, in lieu of benefits) * Certification - $2.00/hour * Trainer - $2.00/hour * Student Coord - $2.00/hour, 2+ = $3.25/hour **JOB DESCRIPTION:** Receives and fills prescription requests from physicians and other qualified prescribers.  Prepares/ compounds medications, IVs  and other pharmaceutical supplies based on OMC protocols/procedures.  Performs computer order entry/billing.  Delivers supplies.  Prepackages medications.  Maintains records.  Assists with training new staff.  Performs drug stock control and other various other related duties. **_EDUCATION_**        Graduate of a Washington State Board of Pharmacy approved Pharmacy Technician training         Program.  **_EXPERIENCE_** Experience with hospital drug distribution systems, hospital computer systems, IV compounding systems and other hospital related systems preferred.                             **_LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS_** Certification as a Pharmacy Technician in Washington State required.  National certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.   **BENEFITS INFORMATION:** [Click here for information about our benefits](http://www.olympicmedical.org/careers/#benefits). **Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Statement:** Olympic Medical Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values workplace diversity.
