Pharmacy Technician - Poppyfields

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a **Pharmacy Technician** to join the team in our **McCauley Poppyfields.** This is a **32****\-hour permanent** position with the store's opening hours operating between **9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.** The team currently comprises a **Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, a Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Relief Pharmacist and 3 Technicians.** This store has **manageable items and services.** **We can offer you:** * Competitive Hourly rates * Great Colleague Discount * Bike to work scheme * Uniform provided **The responsibilities of the role** * Be accurate with excellent attention to detail. * To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner. * Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements. * Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims. * Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary. **Requirements:** * Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply. * Experience with McLernons MPS (an advantage). * IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage **_If you would be interested in being considered for current or future vacancies within a dispensary role, please apply or declare your interest to our Talent Acquisition Specialist Danielle Gillen at [email protected]_** _#McCauley_
