**Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is dedicated to transforming the health care experience and providing access to world-class health care in America’s heartland.** **Work Shift:** Rotating (United States of America) **Scheduled Weekly Hours:** 35 **Compensation:** Salary Range: $17.00 - $23.50 **Union Position:** No **Department Details** Schedule will be 7 on 7 off Wednesday to Tuesday 4 a to 2 p. **Summary** Uses equipment to collect samples of blood and other fluids from patients/residents; explains procedures to patients/residents and collects information from them in a professional manner. **Job Description** Collects and manages samples of blood and specimens from patients/residents; ensures patient/resident safety during the sample collection process. Records and documents patient/resident information accurately. Follows all standard procedures and safety regulations; deploys asepsis techniques during phlebotomy procedures. Communicates with patients/residents, collecting their health information and answering their questions regarding phlebotomy procedures. Work 7 on 7 off, 0400-1400. **Qualifications** High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) required. Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
