Records and documents patient information accurately. Follows all standard procedures and safety regulations; deploys asepsis techniques during phlebotomy procedures. Communicates with patients, collecting their health information and answering their questions regarding phlebotomy procedures. **Qualifications** High school diploma or General Educational Development Diploma (GED) required. Previous work experience in a medical setting is beneficial. Basic knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology. Completion of a formal phlebotomy program, phlebotomy experience, and experience in a laboratory-related field preferred.
