Working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide high-quality therapy services designed to help residents improve mobility, strength, function, and independence. Key Responsibilities -------------------- * Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist * Implement individualized treatment plans according to physician orders and therapy goals * Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team * Document treatments, progress notes, and required clinical information accurately and timely * Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education * Collaborate with nursing staff and other interdisciplinary team members * Participate in care conferences and team meetings as needed * Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment * Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations * Support residents in achieving their highest level of function and independence Qualifications -------------- * Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program * Current **South Carolina PTA license** in good standing * Must maintain all required continuing education and licensure requirements * Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred * Experience with **PointClickCare (PCC)** and **Casamba** preferred * Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills What Makes You a Great Fit -------------------------- * Compassion for an underserved population * Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills * Excellent time management and organizational abilities * Positive attitude and resident-centered approach * Passion for helping residents achieve their rehabilitation goals We are an equal opportunity employer.
