**We're Hiring: Advanced Practice Specialty Nurse – GI**
### **About the Role:**
Do you geek out over gut health? Do endoscopies, capsule studies, and complex GI cases spark your clinical curiosity? If you're a highly skilled, motivated Nurse Practitioner who’s passionate about all things GI, we want _you_ on our team!
As our **Advanced Practice Specialty Nurse – GI**, you’ll work alongside top-tier gastroenterologists and a dynamic care team to deliver advanced, compassionate care to patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions. You'll assess, diagnose, treat, and follow patients using your expertise—and even assist in procedures under physician supervision. In short: You’ll be a GI game-changer.
**What You’ll Do:**
* Be a clinical leader in GI care—manage patients with GI dysfunction and disease across inpatient and/or outpatient settings
* Collaborate with physicians and specialists to create and carry out treatment plans
* Perform assessments, order diagnostics, and initiate evidence-based interventions
* Assist with or perform specific diagnostic/interventional GI procedures (with supervision)
* Provide education and support to patients and families
* Help shape and elevate the standard of GI care in our organization
### **What You Bring:**
* MSN from an accredited nursing program
* Active RN license in Missouri
* Nurse Practitioner certification (ANCC, AANP, etc.)
* Missouri certification for Advanced Practice (if required)
* Current **Collaborative Practice Agreement**
* BCLS certification
* Clinical expertise in GI or a strong interest in developing it
* 3–5 years of hands-on nursing experience
* Leadership chops and the ability to thrive in a team

* 3–5 years of **gastroenterology-specific** experience
* Advanced education in GI diseases, treatments, and patient management
* Experience in endoscopy, colonoscopy, or other GI procedures
