Job Summary ----------- **Summary:** The “**Planner Scheduler**” will be based in **Dallas, TX.** This role will be In charge of helping materials and production functions. Plans, schedules, coordinates and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability.   **Responsibilities:** * Checking the possibility of the order fulfillment based on the available resources (materials, employees, equipment’s etc.), confirmation of the order. * Preparation of production plans, input of planning data into the integrated computer system of the company, notification of the purchasing group. * Monitoring, control of implementation of plans, starting necessary actions in case of deviations * Preparation of long-term plans, forecasts (MPS, Forecast). * Monitoring of system accuracy in daily/weekly bases /General Item data, routing, BOM, CFT data /non-consumed demand, planned WO's. * Preparing of Clean to build reports, checking the material availability, replanning if necessary, informing of order desk, ECO implementation tracing. * Monitoring of stock level, handling of stock differences. * Preparing management and CFT specificized reports, monitoring of KPI's. * Giving assistance, replacement in certain cases to SCM and Order desk within the CFT. * Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests. * Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to committed ship date (CSD), lead-time, response time, and inventory goals. * Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs.  * May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs. * Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues. * Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management. * Provides input to management, reschedules, and /or interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers, and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions. * Represents Order Management on various Customer Focus Teams. * May also help inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.   **Qualifications:** * Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of 1 years of related experience. * Demonstrates operations and technical skills and comprehension of Flex’s functional standards. * Demonstrates a general knowledge of functional concepts and a rudimentary comprehension of Flex policies and procedures. * Has awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions. * Ability to operate data entry, office software including, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation packages and data base systems. **What you'll receive for the great work you provide:** * Full range of medical, dental, and vision plans * Life Insurance * Short-term and Long-term Disability * Matching 401(k) Contributions * Vacation and Paid Sick Time * Tuition Reimbursement Job Category ------------ Global Procurement & Supply Chain Is Sponsorship Available?
