Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** * Support plant operations by assisting with production, cleanup, and general labor tasks * Operate or assist with equipment in a safe and efficient manner * Follow established procedures to ensure product quality and operational reliability * Maintain clean and organized work areas to support a safe workplace * Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals **What We Are Looking For** * Ability to work safely and follow established safety practices * Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods * Willingness to learn equipment operation and plant processes * Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills * Reliability, adaptability, and a positive approach to daily tasks **Conditions of Employment** * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check * Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing **Work Environment** * Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level **What We Offer** * $26.70 per hour plus an additional $0.50/hr 2nd shift rate * $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year) * Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension * Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
