Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery * Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions * Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently * Collaborate with team members to support production goals * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities **What Are We Looking For** * Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Familiarity with industrial tools, equipment, and safety practices * Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality **Conditions of Employment** * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check * Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing **Work Environment** * Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level **What We Offer** * $25.87 per hour * Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension * Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays * Eligible employees can earn up to a $1,250 performance-based retention bonus each quarter, paid quarterly based on achievement of established performance metrics.
