PM Mechanic 3rd Shift

**3rd Shift Diesel Mechanic- Haltom City, TX 7pm start time Sun-Thurs.** **Waste Connections | $24–$30/hr | Full-Time + OT + Benefits** Join **Waste Connections** as a Diesel Mechanic and keep our fleet running strong! We’re hiring experienced techs to perform maintenance and repairs on garbage trucks—covering everything from hydraulics and electrical to engine systems. This is a hands-on, outdoor role for someone who takes pride in their work and values safety. 💰 **What We Offer:**  • $24–$30/hour based on experience  • $150/month tool allowance + annual boot stipend  • Full benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K match, Life Insurance)  • Consistent hours: 50–60 hrs/week, Sun–Thur. + some Saturdays  • Year-round stability + safety-first culture 🛠️ **What You’ll Do:**  • Perform preventative maintenance & inspections  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues  • Handle on-road breakdowns and emergency calls  • Keep shop clean, organized, and safe  • Accurately document all work performed ✅ **Requirements:**  • 3+ years of diesel or heavy truck experience  • Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems  • ASE cert and CDL (A or B) a strong plus  • Reliable, hard-working, and safety-minded  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather **#ACMaintenance** **Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
