Practice Manager 2

**Summary** **Job Description:** _**Baptist Health Medical Group is looking for a Practice Manager II for their Urgent Care clinic in Louisville, Shelbyville Rd.**_ **Principal Duties & Responsibilities:** * Responsible for the daily operations and supervision of the practice, including objective measures in a “balanced scorecard” approach. * Schedules physician and staff personnel and manages leave requests * Make recommendations regarding equipment and supplies needed to maintain efficient operations; order supplies and equipment as needed. * Prepare and submit an annual budget * Work with Marketing and Public Relations as needed to enhance public image of the clinic. * Establishes and maintains an efficient and responsive patient flow system. * Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with patients, visitors, physicians. employees and coworkers * Serves as the facility’s representative to the business community and public at large * Plan new programs to be developed within the office.  Researches and isolates opportunities and develops plans for Director review to market new or existing services the facilities may offer * Daily balancing and bank depositing and invoice processing * Must be able to conduct periodic audits of charts, policies and procedures and/or direct this process for the entire facility. * Responsible for interviewing, hiring, orientation, development, and evaluation of employees **Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:** * Associate’s degree in business or health care related field * 4+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. * Excellent leadership, analytical and project management skills as demonstrated by the ability to manage personnel and technical issues and the knowledge of financial analysis tools and PC skills. * Must have an in-depth knowledge of the payor environment, patient service delivery systems and federal/state rules and regulations regarding billing processes.
