Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented **Precision Assembler** to join our team. In this role, you will assemble, test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of mechanical equipment and components while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience reading technical drawings and blueprints, and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship. You will work with industry-leading tools, equipment, and technologies to support the production and repair of high-quality products for our customers.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Assemble products and equipment according to engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and work orders.
* Perform functional testing and inspections to verify product quality and compliance with specifications.
* Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and reassemble equipment as required.
* Ensure all parts and components are properly cleaned and prepared prior to assembly.
* Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, verniers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
* Operate hand tools and specialized equipment, including hydraulic torque wrenches and other shop tools.
* Troubleshoot assembly issues and identify effective solutions.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, assembly instructions, and maintenance procedures.
* Accurately complete required documentation, inspection records, and production reports.
* Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
* Support Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) initiatives and contribute to operational excellence efforts.
* Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED.
* 0–2 years of manufacturing, assembly, mechanical, or related experience.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Basic math skills, including calculations involving ratios, percentages, and unit conversions.
* Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules when business needs require.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications

* Previous workshop, manufacturing, or industrial assembly experience.
* Experience working as a mechanic on rotating equipment, pumps, motors, or other mechanical systems.
* Knowledge of automation controls, instrumentation, or electrical components.
* Vocational training, technical certification, or trade school education.
* Experience working with precision measurement and inspection tools.
