Pressperson - Lithographic Sheetfed

**Job Purpose:** **Job Responsibilities:** ● Work under the plant manager to make sure all team members on press are properly and adequately trained to perform their essential functions in a safe, productive manner in accordance with all established safety guidelines. ● Make-ready and operate press based upon written instructions provided. ● Ensure each job is produced to customer specifications, meeting internal and external deadlines. ● Verify that stock and inks match job specs on ticket. ● Ensure all crew members understand job details for their areas of responsibility. ● Read and understand job tickets for stock and color specifications. ● Perform press make ready, folder set ups, maintain press register and color. ● Perform quality pull sheet procedures according to press SOP’s. ● Ensure samples are pulled and labeled according to press SOP. ● Follow all safety policies and regulations and report any potential hazards, near misses or accidents immediately. ● Perform routine maintenance on the press, making sure that that all equipment is properly maintained with the press team members as required. ● Coordinate work schedules in the department with other team members. ● Perform other duties as assigned. **Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:** ● Must have a minimum of 2 to 4 years experience as a Press Feeder ● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure ● Ability to work independently as well as with a crew/team **Work Experience:** ● 5-10 years of related job experience. ● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment. ● Ability to work quickly and efficiently. **Education:** ● High School Diploma/GED Preferred **What We Offer** * Engaging and inclusive culture with employee-led Employee Resource Groups, Veritiv Cultural Alliance, recognition platform, etc. * Extensive training opportunities, professional development programs, career pathing, and mentorship opportunities. * Collaborative atmosphere with our customers and suppliers to create healthier, safer and more sustainable communities through our responsible operations and innovative solutions. * Healthcare benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and health savings account), life, AD&D, and disability insurance, 401k, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, employee assistance program, and other fringe benefits. **About Veritiv** Together with its subsidiaries, Veritiv is the leading full-service provider of packaging solutions.
