Principal Field Application Engineer - Mpu

NXP is seeking an experienced Field Application Engineer to support automotive applications processors and related system solutions. This role focuses on demand creation, customer design-in support, and successful project execution for key customers. Responsibilities: * Promote NXP MPU products and vertical solutions in collaboration with sales and marketing teams. * Act as the main technical interface for customers throughout the project lifecycle. * Support customer product development based on NXP’s advanced automotive processors. * Provide technical guidance on software, hardware, system architecture, and issue resolution. * Drive technical engagement, design-in activities, and customer project success. Requirements: * Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. * Experience with high-performance Arm multi-core platforms. * Strong knowledge of RTOS and embedded software development. * Hands-on experience with Linux programming, kernel development, and device drivers. * Knowledge of NPU and edge AI technologies is preferred. * Familiarity with embedded hardware and high-speed interfaces such as SGMII, XFI, and PCIe. * Excellent internal and external communication skills. * Strong learning ability and ownership mindset. * Good written and spoken English skills.
