**Job Title:** Principal, IT Architecture **Job Description:** **SAP GTS Solution Architect**  **Job Summary**  We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP GTS Solution Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be a key driver in defining, designing, and delivering our SAP GTS strategy, which includes leading our upcoming upgrade from SAP GTS to E4HANA (Edition for HANA). This is a comprehensive position combining high-level architectural oversight, hands-on design, and ongoing production support. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of SAP experience, a deep specialization in SAP GTS, and a proven track record of supporting and designing global trade solutions.  **Responsibilities**  Architect and Design:  * Serve as the primary architect for all SAP GTS initiatives, from initial design through to successful deployment in the new E4HANA landscape.  * Translate complex business requirements into clear, efficient, and scalable SAP GTS solutions.  * Lead and conduct requirements-gathering workshops with global trade, logistics, and IT stakeholders.  * Document detailed functional and technical specifications for all GTS configurations, enhancements, and integrations.  E4H Migration:  * Lead the Entegris architectural planning, design, and execution of the SAP GTS upgrade to E4H alongside the integration partner.  * Conduct system assessments and fit-gap analysis to identify business needs, recommend best practices, and define the optimal GTS solution roadmap for the new environment.  * Oversee data migration, interface compatibility, and integration of GTS with SAP ECC modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI), as well as third-party systems.  Production Support & Optimization:  * Provide expert-level, day-to-day functional and technical support for the SAP GTS system and related processes.  * Act as a point of escalation for complex GTS incidents and problems, leading troubleshooting and issue resolution.  * Monitor system performance and proactively recommend improvements and optimization strategies for trade compliance and customs processes.  * Provide hyper-care and sustainment support during project go-lives and for production issues.  Compliance and Governance:  * Act as the subject matter expert for all GTS modules, including Compliance Management (SPL, Legal Control, Embargo), Customs Management (Export/Import), and Risk Management.  * Stay informed about changes in international trade regulations and trade compliance laws to ensure the company’s ongoing compliance.  * Drive solution governance and ensure that all new developments and changes adhere to design standards and best practices.  **Qualifications**  * **Experience:** 10+ years of overall SAP experience, with at least 5 years focused specifically on SAP GTS.  * **GTS Expertise:** Extensive experience in designing, configuring, and supporting SAP GTS solutions, covering Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management.  * **Technical Knowledge:** Proven experience with SAP ECC-GTS and S/4HANA-GTS integration, including familiarity with BADI enhancements, document transfer, and mapping.  * **Upgrade Experience:** Hands-on experience with at least one full-cycle SAP GTS implementation or upgrade to Edition for HANA (e4H) and integration with S/4HANA.  * **Analytical Skills:** Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.  * **Communication:** Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical teams, business executives, and cross-cultural stakeholders effectively.  * **Certifications:** SAP GTS or S/4HANA certifications are highly desirable.
