Principal Plant Technical Support

Job Scope * Lead strategic CAPEX projects from concept through commissioning, validation, and operational handover, ensuring delivery on scope, budget, and timelines. * Develop and execute engineering and process technology roadmaps to support capacity expansion, process capability, and business growth. * Serve as the site process engineering SME for aseptic manufacturing, compounding, filling, packaging, and inspection operations. * Drive operational excellence through process optimization, OEE improvement, yield enhancement, waste reduction, and cost-saving initiatives. * Lead complex process investigations, root cause analysis, CAPAs, and implementation of sustainable engineering solutions. * Provide technical leadership for equipment, facility, utilities, automation, and process control system upgrades. * Support technology transfers, process validation, manufacturing readiness, and lifecycle management programs. * Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Automation, Utilities, and Global Engineering teams to achieve site objectives. * Establish and maintain engineering standards, technical documentation, process specifications, and regulatory compliance requirements. * Champion Lean, Six Sigma, Industry 4.0, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reliability. * Monitor project and manufacturing performance, manage risks, and ensure audit and inspection readiness. * Mentor and develop engineering talent while fostering a strong culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence. **What You'll Bring to Alcon** * Min Degree in Engineering or scientific field * Min 8 years of relevant end to end experience project management in process engineering field in pharmaceutical/ medical field * Brings along past experience in troubleshooting process issues and end to end validation experience will be required  **ATTENTION: Current Alcon Employee/Contingent Worker** If you are currently an active employee/contingent worker at Alcon, please click the appropriate link below to apply on the Internal Career site.
