Principal Product Engineer

**At Cadence, we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to make an impact on the world of technology.** ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Data Platform Product Engineering Role: * Collaborate with product management to define the strategic roadmap * Work in partnership with product managers to technically validate the product roadmap and strategy * Reimagine existing legacy design flows using state of the art web, cloud and service-oriented technologies ranging from library management, schematic, PCB manufacturing and supply chain. * Define and validate user flows for applications connected to the data platform * Identify customer problems then define next generation applications/services to extend the data platform to solve those problems * Work with customers to validate solutions, refine requirements and guide technical approach. * Engage directly with R&D as a product owner as part of an agile development team. * Use experience in both electrical, PCB layout and supply chain to create next generation use models for our customers * Work collaboratively, in a cross functional PE team to insure smooth use cases across the design process while identifying new opportunities to improve the cadence solutions. * Assist in technical field enablement, thru early product demos, training, and best practices. **We’re doing work that matters.
