The EU 3P Deals & Promotions team is seeking an entrepreneurial Principal Program Manager to shape the future of promotional experiences for third-party sellers across Europe. This leader will operate at the intersection of strategy, technology, and seller experience — driving the next generation of seller tools, influencing EU and worldwide partner teams, and leveraging AI to prototype and pilot transformative initiatives.The successful candidate will communicate effectively with Director and VP leadership, operate independently in highly ambiguous environments, and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority. They will be equally comfortable presenting a long-term strategic vision as they are rolling up their sleeves to build an AI-powered prototype that tests a new hypothesis.This role is best suited for a leader who combines deep strategic thinking with a builder's mindset — someone who can shape the strategic posture of a $30B+ program across both peak events and evergreen promotions, while staying relentlessly close to sellers to ensure we deliver the best promotional experience in the market segment.Some qualities we are looking for: you translate ambiguity into clarity and action; you have the intellectual curiosity to reimagine how sellers interact with promotional tools; you build coalitions across organizational boundaries to make things happen; you are seller obsessed and regularly seek direct seller input to inform your decisions; you thrive where AI and automation are reshaping what's possible; and you are passionate about building something transformational at scale.Key job responsibilities- Strategic Influence & Partnership — Work across EU and WW product, tech, business and marketing teams to define the roadmap for next-generation seller promotional tools, influencing prioritization and investment decisions across multiple organizations- Program Strategy — Contribute to shape the strategic posture of EU 3P Deals & Promotions across peak events and evergreen promotions, setting the direction to achieve ambitious growth goals- AI & Innovation — Leverage AI and emerging technologies to build prototypes, pilot new initiatives, and evolve the team's thinking on how to scale promotional tools- Tool & Product Development — Partner with product and engineering teams to devise, build, and iterate on seller-facing tools that nurture program growth across 10 EU marketplaces- Seller Experience — Participate in seller roundtables, industry conferences, and direct seller engagements to understand pain points and ensure our programs deliver the best experience in the market segmentAbout the teamThe EU 3P Deals & Promotions program is one of the largest growth engines within EU marketplaces, driving engagement across deals, coupons, buy X get Y, and other promotional tools. We work at the intersection of seller success and customer delight — helping sellers grow through compelling promotional experiences while delivering value to hundreds of millions of customers. Our ambition is to build the most innovative, AI-powered promotional ecosystem in e-commerce.The applicable collective agreement for this role is CCNL per i Dirigente di aziende del Settore Industriale. The position is classified at level Dirigente or above, depending on the candidate’s skills, competences and experience. The minimum gross annual base salary for this position is listed below. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full-time basis. For part-time hours, the salary will be pro-rated. Amazon reserves the right to offer a higher salary and/or level, depending on the candidate's skills, competencies, and experience. Amazon's package may include a sign on payment. In addition, the candidate may be eligible to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. Your recruiting team will share final salary and any restricted stock unit scheme if applicable, depending on skills and requirements. In addition to statutory benefits, and those applicable to the relevant CBA, company supplementary benefits may apply subject to further terms. Italy - 69,000 EUR gross annually. Basic Qualifications: - Relevant years of experience in program management, product management, or strategy roles in technology or e-commerce environments- Experience combining strategic thinking with deep analytical rigor — using data, metrics, and quantitative modeling to define program requirements and measure impact- Demonstrated ability to influence and drive alignment across senior leadership and cross-functional teams (both tech and non-tech) without direct authority- Experience working across multiple geographies Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree or MBA in business, engineering, technology, or related field- Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to VP+ leadership- Experience with AI/ML tools and technologies, including building prototypes or proof-of-concepts- Experience working in a matrixed, multi-country organization- Experience in marketplace, e-commerce, or seller-facing rolesAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
