Job Summary ----------- _To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Process Engineer**_ _located in **Guadalajara, North**._ _Reporting to the Project Manager, Process Engineer role will be in charge for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization._ **What a typical day looks like:** * _Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product._ * _Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability._ * _Have the capability to singly or with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process._ * _High level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues._ * _Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production._ * _Hold up and oversee new process equipment production._ * _Hold up the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs)._ * _Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters._ * _Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies._ * _Trouble shoot process related issues._ * _Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements._ * _Evaluate and select various engineered materials._ * _Implement statistical process research on new and existing products._ * _Implement safety, productivity and give in improvements._ * _Improve manufacturing techniques and through put._ * _Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities and gives in._ * _Develop and maintain process documentation._ * _Review processing methods._ * _Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer._ * _Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer._ * _Provide equipment maintenance and repair hold up as required._ * _Guide cost improvement/reduction programs._ **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** * _BA/BS or equivalent work experience_ * _Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate with customers, participate in meetings, and provide clear project/process status updates._ * _Solid experience in process engineering within metal-mechanical manufacturing, rack assembly, or high-level mechanical assembly environments._ * _Strong knowledge of rack assembly processes, including integration of mechanical components and assemblies._ * _Experience with tolerance stack-up analysis, preferably in metal-mechanical processes, to ensure proper fit, function, and manufacturability._ * _Knowledge of torque-controlled assembly processes and smart torque stations._ * _Working knowledge of AutoCAD for layout review._ * _Ability to apply structured problem-solving tools such as Ishikawa diagrams and 5 Whys to identify root causes and drive corrective actions._ * _Statistical Tools: Proficiency in statistical methods and data driven analysis._ * _Analytical Tools: Ability to apply analytical methodologies for problem solving and process optimization._ * _Lean Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies_ **What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:** * Competitive Salary. * Life & Medical insurance. * Christmas Bonus. * Food Coupons. * Saving Fund.
