Job Summary ----------- _To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an  **Process Engineer,** located in **Guadalajara, North Campus.** Reporting to the **Director Operations Engineer,** the role involves responsibilities for activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment in order to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements._ _**What a typical day looks like:**_ *  _Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product_  * _Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability._  * _Have the capability to singly or with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process_  * _High level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues_   * _Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production._  * _Hold up and oversee new process equipment production._  * _Hold up the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs)._  * _Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters_  * _Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies._   * _Trouble shoot process related issues._  * _Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements._  * _Evaluate and select various engineered materials._  * _Implement statistical process research on new and existing products._  * _Implement safety, productivity and give in improvements._  * _Improve manufacturing techniques and through put._  * _Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities and gives in._  * _Develop and maintain process documentation._  * _Review processing methods._   * _Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer._  * _Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer._  * _Provide equipment maintenance and repair hold up as required._  * _Guide cost improvement/reduction programs._   _**The experience we’re looking to add to our team:**_ * _Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field._ * **_Experience_** _in Manufacturing and Process Engineering within the electronics manufacturing industry._ *  _Strong experience in **SMT (Surface Mount Technology) processes**._ * _Advanced knowledge of: Reflow profiling, dispensing processes._ * _SMT printer programming and optimization._ * _Electronic manufacturing equipment and machinery._ * _Extensive experience in process analysis, production runs, and manufacturing floor troubleshooting._ * _Strong capabilities in:_ * _Data analysis._ * _Statistical analysis._ * _Development and interpretation of production and performance reports._ * _Implementation of corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives._ *  _Experience with **Front-End and Back-End manufacturing processes**, with a strong emphasis on Front-End operations._ *  _**Lean Six Sigma Green Belt** certification preferred._ * _Experience leading teams and managing direct reports._ *  _**Advanced English proficiency**, with the ability to participate in technical discussions, presentations, and communication with global teams._ **_What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:_**   * _Competitive Salary._ * _Life & Medical insurance._ * _Christmas Bonus._ * _Food Coupons._ * _Saving Fund._ _OC16_ Job Category ------------ Production Engineering Required Skills: Optional Skills: Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
