At GE Healthcare, our passionate people are creating the products, solutions, and services our customers need to deliver the best patient care possible. **Job Description** =================== Job Responsibilities: \* Lead and manage all procurement engineering activities for MR New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, from concept to launch. \* Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for MR NPI components, leveraging market intelligence and supplier capabilities. \* Collaborate closely with R&D, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to identify and evaluate potential suppliers for new MR technologies and components. \* Conduct technical assessments of supplier capabilities, processes, and quality systems to ensure alignment with GE Precision Healthcare's standards. \* Drive cost reduction initiatives throughout the NPI lifecycle, including design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for sourcing (DFS) activities. \* Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, delivery schedules, and quality agreements. \* Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk throughout the NPI process, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget. \* Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks for NPI components, developing contingency plans as needed. \* Lead cross-functional teams to resolve technical and supply chain issues that may arise during NPI. \* Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and supplier landscape within the MR domain. \* Mentor and develop junior procurement engineering talent within the team. Job Qualifications: \* Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical, or related field) from an accredited university. \* Minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management within a highly regulated industry, preferably medical devices, or healthcare. \* Strong technical understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality systems relevant to complex medical devices. \* Proven track record of successful supplier selection, negotiation, and relationship management. \* Excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills. \* Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams. \* Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
