The Procurement Operations Department is responsible for the overall procurement operations of the Rakuten Group. **Position:** **Why We Hire** As we work to standardize procurement processes across the entire Rakuten Group, there is a need for the strategic and efficient design and development of a procurement system. Accordingly, we are seeking individuals to join our ongoing project to implement a new procurement system and take the lead in driving the project forward. **Position Details**  Procurement System Maintenance \- Initial response to system errors and coordination with the development team. New Procurement System Project Management \- Managing project progress and resolving issues related to the new system implementation. \- Defining and executing data integration strategies between legacy and new systems. \- Providing post-implementation support and handling user inquiries. \- Reporting on operational status and driving continuous improvement initiatives post-launch. **Work Environment** The entire organization has a size of nearly 80 employees, and the department you are expected to be assigned to has approximately 30 employees. \*Due to the expansion of operations, we are also promoting the use of external contractors, so the department as a whole is expected to grow further. **Mandatory Qualifications:** \- At least three years of professional work experience. \- Experience in system implementation, management, or operations. \- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \- Business level English proficiency. **Desired Qualifications:** \- Work experience in a procurement-related department. \- Experience in implementing procurement SaaS systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa). \- Experience leading mid-sized projects. **Other Information:** **Additional information on Location** Rakuten Crimson House \*As designated by the company #corporate #procurement #OperationalImprovement #operationdiv **Languages:** English (Overall - 3 - Advanced), Japanese (Overall - 4 - Fluent)
