Producer - Programming Sports

**Producer – Programming, Sports** We are looking for a passionate and execution-oriented Producer – Live Sports Content to join the sports content team at JioStar. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a live production environment, understands the nuances of cricket programming, and can create compelling content that works seamlessly across both television and digital platforms. The role requires strong editorial judgment, hands-on production capability, and the ability to operate effectively under tight timelines and budget constraints. **Key Responsibilities** * To assist the producer and the production team through the different stages of production * Have basic experience of working on edit systems (FCP, Adobe Premier) * Ability to deliver content that’s platform agnostic (TV & Digital) * Should be able to write TV scripts * Must be thorough with research (especially sporting subjects), must have ability to write or shape scripts for television * Must be able to shoot various elements of a program (in studio or outside venue) and post-produce shows and stories * Coordinate with various departments of production, track the progress and update producer accordingly * Must have ability to learn on the job (and quickly) and capacity to deliver within tight deadlines * Keen eye for new tech that can help with better storytelling (themes and processes) * Keen understanding of cricket and a passionate follower of the sport **What We’re Looking For** * Proven experience in live sports production, preferably in cricket programming. * Strong expertise in run order creation, scripting, and live show execution. * Experience handling live panel shows, news shows, or people-led studio formats. * Working knowledge of FCP and/or Adobe Premiere Pro. * Ability to think across platforms and create content suitable for both broadcast and digital consumption. * Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills with internal and external teams. * High ownership, adaptability, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment. * A passionate follower of cricket with a strong understanding of the sport’s ecosystem, narratives, and audience behavior.
