**Job Title:** Product Development Engineer **Job Description:** **The Role:**  We are seeking a passionate engineer to lead "next-generation material development," a core driver for expanding Entegris’ world-leading Liquid Microcontamination Control (LMC) business. Join us in driving the evolution of filtration technologies that power the cutting edge of semiconductor manufacturing.  **In this role you will:**  This role requires a development engineer who can put the following concepts into practice. The concepts of:  * Collaborate closely with outsource suppliers  * Membrane development in consideration of semiconductoer application  * Sustained experiment method development for next-generation membrane technologies  * Rigor and speed in execution  **We value your ability to do the following:**  * Managing a membrane development work in Japan.  * Establish new membrane experiment method for next-generation membranes.  * Solving technical challenge for next-generation membrane development.  * Support troubleshooting to other departments  * Collaborate proactively with the other engineering teams, applications and product marketing to drive product development that meets or exceeds customer specifications.   * Introduce capital equipment to expand engineering capabilities in Japan.  * Demonstrate willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in order to support the overall organization.   **Traits we believe make a strong candidate:**   * BS or MS in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering   * 5+ years of experience in chemical analysis or product development   * Able to work fully on-site both in a lab and office environment. Remote work available upon request.    * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.    * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.    **Outstanding Candidates Will Have:**   * Experience in R&D for filtration and separation membranes  * Experience with liquid filtration or purification technology   * Strong analytical skills including experience with SEM, ICP-MS, GC, FTIR, e.t.c.  * Knowledge and experience in front-end semiconductor manufacturing  **Your success will be measured by:**   * Tenacity to drive projects completion in a timely manner  * Professionalism, integrity and high degree of accountability  * Ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels and functional groups within the organization  * Ability to leverage technical knowledge and tools to drive continuous improvement
