Product Engineer

Job Summary =========== Product Engineer supports the successful introduction of new products into production. This role works closely with a global, cross‑functional NPI team to ensure product launches are delivered on time, meet market requirements, and achieve high reliability and manufacturability. The Product Engineer plays a key role during product qualification, characterization, and production ramp‑up phases. Key Responsibilities ==================== * Support **end‑to‑end New Product Introduction activities** from development through mass production. * Work with global R&D cross‑functional teams to **ensure on‑time product launch** with minimal risk * Driver **in product qualification, characterization, and validation testing** to ensure product performance and reliability. * **Analyze product performance** data and support identification of potential risks or gaps * Support **reliability assessment** and corrective actions during qualification phases * **Ensure product manufacturability** during production ramp-up * Collaborate with test, quality, design, manufacturing, and marketing teams * Align product market requirements with manufacturing needs * Support yield improvement, issue resolution, and launch readiness tracking Required Qualifications ======================= * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related) * Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience or fresh graduate * Good analytical and problem solving skill * Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams * Strong interest in new product development and manufacturing [More information about NXP in Malaysia...](https://www.nxp.com/company/about-nxp/worldwide-locations/malaysia:MALAYSIA) #LI-633a
