The Product Marketing Intern will gain the opportunity to work within Duke Energy's Product Marketing & Acquisition Team.  Product Marketing & Acquisition is Duke Energy’s Full-Service Marketing and Promotion Team and serves as a strategic consultant and execution arm for Products and Services and Customer Experience. **What You’ll Do:** * Review marketing and communication plans and assist in campaign development for customer facing programs and products, including creative strategy and channel alignment. * Assist in the analysis of marketing channels and analytics. * Assist in providing insight into internal and/or external challenges and regulatory issues. * Review and study internal and external research and marketing trends that help support assigned marketing strategy project. * Publish and present written Point of Views (POVs) and other strategy documents to marketing professionals and key stakeholders. * Assist in the preparation of operational and informational communications and campaigns. **Basic Qualifications**  ------------------------- * Currently enrolled as a rising junior, senior, or graduate student in an accredited college or university program * Pursuing degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business (concentration in Marketing or Management) * Cumulative GPA of at least 2.75. * Must not graduate prior to August 2027 **Desired Qualifications** * Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher * Demonstrated effective leadership skills through on-campus, extracurricular/volunteer activities, etc. * Ability to work independently and/or part of a team to meet critical milestones. * Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills. * Experience with Microsoft Office products * Capable of building, developing and maintaining positive working relationships with key clients and subject matter experts while working in a team environment. * Understanding of basic marketing theories and principles. **Working Conditions:** ----------------------- * Hybrid – Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable commute to the designated Duke Energy facility.
