Product Validation Engineer - Virtuoso

**At Cadence, we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to make an impact on the world of technology.** ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **Job Overview:** As a Product Validation(PV) engineer, you will be responsible for quality engineering for Cadence Virtuoso product line. **Primary Responsibilities:** * The candidate will be responsible for developing Analog & Mixed-signal designs to test various schematic to routing Cadence Virtuoso tool functionalities and interfaces, implementing test methodologies, creating test specifications, developing test cases, and setting up and monitoring automated regressions * The engineer needs to build scripts/tools to assist and automate testing using scripting languages and make sure products are performing up to the specifications and upholding software quality standards * He/She will be working closely with global R&D, Product Engineering and Software Release teams to enhance the quality of the product * Should be able to work with global internal & external customers **Experience and Technical Skills Required****:** * Good understanding of Analog circuit design methodologies * Good technical knowledge & debugging skills * Good knowledge/experience with AI/ML and scripting languages like Python & Perl **Job Qualification****:**                        * Master’s or Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics/VLSI design engineering with 1-2 yrs industry experience   * Candidate must be passionate, self-motivated, fast learner and capable of significantly contributing individually as well as a team player * Should have strong English communication skills * (Preferred)Good understanding of QA methodologies, passionate about automation and its implementation * (Preferred)Understanding of Cadence SKILL, Perl, Python programming languages and Unix environment will be a plus **We’re doing work that matters.
