Production Operator - First Shift

Contribute to top-tier manufacturing in an encouraging atmosphere.  **Discover Impactful Work:**  At Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining quality and production standards, ensuring our products meet the highest levels of excellence.    **A Day in the Life:**  * Operate production equipment and address mechanical issues  * Perform quality tests and maintain accurate records  * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations    **Education:**  High school diploma or equivalent required.    **Experience:**  * 1+ year of basic knowledge of machinery preferred.  * Experience with production equipment is a plus.  * Familiarity with quality testing.    **Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:**  * Basic math skills including use of formulas, decimals, and fractions.  * Knowledge of simple measuring devices.  * Ability to stand continuously for an 8-hour period.  * Ability to lift 40 lbs.    **Physical Requirements / Work Environment:**  This role entails standing for long periods, operating machinery, and handling materials. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
