Production Specialist Kids & Little Kids

Partner with Editorial and Design teams to manage assets, corrections, proofing, and final release activities. **Responsibilities:** * Prepare and review pages for production, proofing, and release. * Coordinate asset placement, including illustrations and replacement files. * Implement and track corrections through proof cycles. * Perform quality control checks on layouts and production files. * Collaborate with editors and designers to resolve production issues. * Monitor schedules, approvals, and production milestones. **Basic Qualifications:** * 3+ years of print production, publishing, or related experience. * Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Creative Cloud applications. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge of print production, proofing, and prepress workflows. * Experience coordinating artwork, illustrations, and complex page assets. * Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions independently. **Required Education:** * Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Publishing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience. **Preferred Education:** * Advanced coursework, certification, or specialized training in publishing, print production, graphic design, or related disciplines The hiring range for this position in Washington, D.C. is $79,400 to $106,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
