Job Summary ----------- _To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Production Supervisor** located in **Guadalajara North.**_ _Reporting to the Production Manager the **Production Supervisor**_ is responsible for directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality, and cost goals.    **What a typical day looks like:** * Responsible for the production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment.  * Manages a team of professionals (e.g., engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness requirements.  * Reviews daily/regularly plant operating performance, evaluate areas that may be impacting performance, and advise on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies/quality.  * Troubleshoots/analyses operational problems and advises on their resolution. Holds regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational understanding/capability.  * Evaluate ideas for plant improvements and work with qualified engineers to develop project proposals to encourage improvements and changes.  * Provides technical/operational advice to project teams.  * May act as principal interface between the operation team and the maintenance function.  * May train and coach junior operators and junior team supervisors  * Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply to meet customer requirements.  * Initiates and participates in process development and cost improvement projects.  * Assists in department budget planning and manage department expenses.  * Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.  * Ensures compliance of standards.  * Ensure that all manufacturing area personnel are trained and certified in their specific functions.  * Ensure that all manufacturing personnel adhere to all safety guidelines.  **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** * _Bachelor’s degree._ * _Strong experience as leader._ * _Personnel management._ * Knowledge of Excel * _English is also a plus._ * _Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment._ * _Knowledge of production control systems (Serials, flows, traceability)._ * _Knowledge in specifications and standards related to electronics_ * _Experience in the use of Floor shop systems._ * Knowledge of Lean tools * _Experience in BAAN system (or SAP)._ * _Knowledge in SMT, Backend, BOX._ * Schedule availability **What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:** * _Competitive Salary._ * _Life & Medical insurance._ * _Christmas Bonus._ * _Food Coupons._ * _Saving Fund._ GM13 Job Category ------------ Operations Required Skills: Optional Skills: Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
