**Position overview**
The Production Supervisor leads quarry and plant operations at the Skaneateles site, ensuring safe, efficient production while driving operational performance, equipment reliability, and team accountability in an aggregates environment.
**What You'll Be Doing**
* Lead and coordinate daily quarry and plant production activities to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.
* Supervise and support production crews, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.
* Monitor equipment performance and ensure timely maintenance and troubleshooting
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce waste
* Maintain accurate production records and ensure compliance with company standards
**What Are We Looking For**
* Strong leadership and communication skills to guide and motivate teams, preferably in an aggregates, mining, quarry, or heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of crushing, screening, conveying, and related plant equipment.
* Ability to analyze production data and make informed decisions
* Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of operations
* Problem-solving mindset with adaptability in a fast-paced environment
* Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams
**Work Environment**
This role operates in a manufacturing setting with exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and required.
