The position will closely interact with sourced suppliers along with the GE Appliances technology, sourcing, quality, and commercial teams to understand all consumer queues in an effort to design and produce new and innovative products that lead the market. The use of skilled engineering analysis and judgment with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations in every way is paramount to position success. Position -------- Program Manager - Water Chiller Location -------- CHN, Shanghai, Shanghai How You'll Create Possibilities ------------------------------- **_Program Execution_** * _W__ork closely with_ _product management team to initiate the product definition and technical specification._ * _Work closely with_ _cross-function team to_ _initiate the product development plan and qualification plan._ * _Track the_ _project progress_ _according to work breakdown and_ _ensur__e_ _all tasks and milestones are completed on schedule__._ * _Act as a technical communication bridge between GEA team and supplier team to ensure the smooth implementation of the program and the on-schedule delivery of products._ * _Ensure the timely, transparent and accurate information interaction between GEA team and supplier team._ * _C__onsider problems from the perspectives of both parties and propose solutions__._ * _Risk management__._ **_Technical Support_** * _Review the product design and test reports, provide professional technical opinion to achieve better performance, quality and cost._ * _Actively support the failure root cause analysis and corrective actions._ * _Provide_ _training and guidance of NPI process, Standard Instruction and Engineering Test Procedures to suppliers._ * _Audit supplier’s laboratories and factories._ * _F__ollow up and interpret the latest standard__._ **_Engineering Contribution_** * _Continuously contribute to patent_ * _Proactively learn and apply AI tools to improve work efficiency_ What You'll Bring to Our Team ----------------------------- **Minimum Qualifications:** * _BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent_ * _3_ _years_ _experiences in_ _Water Chiller_ _product management, development, application, service or training._ * _Excellent verbal & written_ _English and communication_ _skills._ * _Proactive problem solver comfortable with hands on work in laboratory_ _or factory_ * _Demonstrated ability to work in a global environment._ * _Advanced computer skills – high proficiency in Microsoft products and ability to grasp new systems quickly._ * _Strong project management and analytical/problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to scope and analyze cross-functional problems to generate/implement solutions._ **Preferred Qualifications:** * _MS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent_ * _Experience of_ _multiple HVAC products management or development._ * _Experience of_ _US Air Conditioner Market_ * _Deep understanding of_ _UL and AHRI_ _standard and_ _US DOE_ _regulation_   * _Certification_ _of_ _Lean or project management or AI skill_ **Working Conditions:** * _Working conditions are normal for an office environment._ * _This role_ _require__s_ _regular meetings in the evening._ * _This role requires_ _occasional weekends._ * _10%-20% travel is expected including_ _domestic and international__._ ### \* Job Profile: Program / Project Manager (P2 or P3 China).  \* Primary Location: Shanghai (XiangeKe 2) CN or Qingdao (No.1 Haier Road) **Our Culture** --------------- Our work is centered on our People and Culture as reflected in our Zero Distance philosophy and we recognize the importance of reaffirming our commitment to inclusion and diversity (I&D).
