As a Project Manager within our Gas Power business, you will take end-to-end ownership of Heavy Duty Gas Turbine (HDGT) project delivery — from the moment a project transitions from proposal to execution, through to successful handover to Power Services. If you're someone who finds energy in solving hard problems, leading cross-functional teams, and building lasting relationships with customers and partners, this is your opportunity to make an impact at scale. **Job Description** =================== **What You’ll Do** You will lead the full lifecycle of project execution for allocated HDGT scope, working across civil construction, mechanical and electrical (M&E) installation, and commissioning. Your key responsibilities include: * **Own project delivery end-to-end —** apply the project execution strategy to deliver within contract specifications, schedule, budget, and cash targets, and ensure proper handover from the Order to Remittance (OTR) project team to Power Services. * **Lead compliance and risk management —** ensure adherence to GE Vernova's Spirit & Letter, Golden Rules, local regulations, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards; manage permitting requirements and interfaces with local authorities. * **Drive commercial and claims management —** define and execute claim strategies with customers, consortium partners, contractors, and sub-suppliers; manage risks and opportunities with clear, actionable plans**.** * **Manage schedule and project controls —** develop, maintain, and evolve the overall project schedule for allocated scope; use schedule data to optimize work, track progress, and resolve emerging issues proactively. * **Lead and inspire your team —** communicate a clear vision of project objectives, create an environment that enables peak performance, and manage relationships across customers, partners, and subcontractors at all levels**.** * **Support subcontracting and procurement —** contribute to construction subcontracting strategy and the selection and procurement of main site subcontractors. * **Report and capture learnings —** support the Project Director with progress and financial reporting, flag key risks early, and capture lessons learned and best practices for continuous improvement. **Who You Are** You are a seasoned project leader with a strong commercial mindset and a track record of delivering complex power infrastructure projects. You bring the right mix of technical credibility, stakeholder influence, and operational discipline to lead high-performing teams in demanding environments. **Required** * Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized university — or equivalent professional experience in a related field * Significant experience in project management within an Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Power Plant, Oil & Gas or other mega infrastructure. * **Proficiency in Mandarin** (required for effective stakeholder engagement); **strong verbal and written English communication** skills * Demonstrated experience negotiating complex contracts with sound commercial understanding of project feasibility and power market dynamics * Proven Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) leadership experience in challenging project environments **Preferred** * Project Management Professional (PMP) or Project Management Institute (PMI) certification * Demonstrated track record of delivering or improving project margins * Experience working in a matrix organization across global or regional teams **Why GE Vernova** GE Vernova employees rise to the challenge of building a world that works.
