Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will operate as part of our Engineering organization and play a pivotal role in driving innovation, enhancing product design, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Join our team at KION North America and become an integral part of our success in delivering high-quality material handling solutions. **We offer:** ============= **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** * Manage engineering projects, including overall integrated project plans, product cost, technical details, resource management, budgets, and tooling investments. * Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to align customer requirements with internal technical requirements. * Prepare and conduct weekly standing meetings with internal teams and external vendors/contractors to plan and track deliverables. * Balance both in-depth details and high-level executive summary regarding project specific requirements. * Drive continuous improvement of project management tools and methodologies. * Ensure compliance with applicable legal and or safety standards. * Embrace and help drive the Lean culture. **Tasks and Qualifications:** ============================= **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in applicable field. * Excellent communication skills, proficient in English * Preferred: Recognized project management certificate, i.e., CAPM®, PMP®, or Prince 2®. * Proven experience with project management. * ERP System knowledge (SAP, preferred) * Knowledge of product development lifecycles. * Experience interfacing with cross-functional support teams. * Experience with utilizing Lean methodologies and root cause analysis.
