**We Require**
* Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited and American Bar Association (ABA) approved law school
* Three years of experience as an attorney practicing criminal law or six years of experience as an attorney practicing in any other area
**Other Requirements**
* Must be admitted to practice law and be in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona by the time of hire
* Valid Arizona driver’s license upon hire
* May require overtime availability to respond to after-hour inquiries

**Job Contributions**
* Represent the State before the Grand Jury
* Review and prepare cases for presentation to the Grand Jury
* Work with and prepare law enforcement witnesses for testimony in front of a Grand Jury
* Answer legal questions asked by Grand Jurors
* Assist with reviewing cases to make charging decisions
* Comply with all rules regulating professional responsibility
* Cover court and other duties as assigned
**Working Conditions**
* Courtroom setting in a high volume, fast-paced environment with frequent stressful situations. May require extended periods of sitting while completing paperwork, standing, and moving about while performing duties

* Ability to travel to and from various County locations for court appearances, meetings, and training, utilizing personal or County-owned vehicles
* Ability to move up to 20 pounds
* Grand Jury presentations are conducted in person but there is an opportunity for some teleworking after the first year of employment
