**Summary** **Job Description:** BHMG Physical Therapy Elizabethtown PT Tech/PAC Baptist Health has repeatedly been named a “Best Place to Work” in Kentucky and we are looking for an energetic & qualified candidate to join our family At Baptist Health; we believe that our competitive salary and enticing benefit package is among the best in the market area. **Job Summary:** The Physical Therapy Technician works only under onsite supervision of a PT or PTA.  Perform specific patient treatments as directed by the therapist. Prepare the patient and/or treatment area for treatment, and responsible for maintaining the physical order of the department.  Direct patient care is provided to patients from adolescent through adult to the geriatric age group. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** * Perform other duties, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below, and specific function may change from time to time. * Carries out the principles of positive customer relations. * Renders safe, appropriate treatment under the on-site supervision of a PT/PTA according to departmental policies and procedures. * Transfers and positions patients appropriately. * Reports any change in condition or adverse reaction of the patients to the therapist. * Maintains physical order of the department. * Cleans equipment following each patient’s use and processes trash and linen appropriately. * Assist with the clerical duties as needed. * Keeps gym, office areas, treatments areas, and equipment room neat and orderly. * Assist other support staff in order to promote efficient delivery of PT services. **Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:** * High School Diploma or equivalent required.  * Completion of on-the-job training, including initial and annual competency training/demonstration.  * This includes successful completion and maintenance of BLS certification.  ### _If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!_ ### Baptist Health is an _Equal Employment Opportunity_ employer.
