Job Description
**Key Responsibilities**
* Implement **standards in test automation, code quality, and framework design**
* Build and maintain **reliable, scalable, and maintainable test suites**
* Implement **efficient locator strategies** (CSS, XPath, Playwright locators, etc.) to improve stability
* Leverage **AI/Agent-based automation approaches** to enhance productivity and test coverage
* Drive adoption of **modern automation tools (Playwright / Selenium)**
* Integrate automation into **CI/CD pipelines** and ensure seamless execution
* Perform **root cause analysis of test failures and reduce test flakiness**
* Collaborate with developers, product teams, and DevOps for **shift-left testing**
**Required Skills & Experience**
* **4+ years** of experience in Test Automation
* Strong expertise in **Selenium and/or Playwright**
* Proficiency in **JavaScript / TypeScript / Python**
* Hands-on experience with **locator strategies** (dynamic elements, shadow DOM, iframes, etc.)
* Familiarity with **AI Agents / intelligent automation tools** for test generation or execution
* Experience using **Visual Studio Code with Copilot** or similar AI-assisted coding tools
* Solid understanding of **web technologies (DOM, APIs, browser behavior)**
* Experience with **test frameworks, assertions, and reporting tools**
* Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
**Good to Have**
* Experience in **API automation (REST/GraphQL)**
* Knowledge of **CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)**
* Exposure to **performance and security testing**
* Understanding of **cloud-based test execution and parallelization**
* Experience in **test data management and mocking/stubbing**
