We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced **QA Engineer** with over 6 years of experience in quality assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in **Cypress**, **Cucumber**, and familiarity with **Karate** for API testing. You will work closely with the development and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products through effective testing strategies and tools integration. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using **Cypress** and **Cucumber**. * Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing across web applications and APIs. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. * Utilize **Karate** framework (where applicable) for API and service layer testing. * Integrate and manage test cases using the **XRay plugin in Jira**, ensuring traceability and test management best practices. * Participate in the CI/CD pipeline using **GitHub Actions** or similar tools to integrate automated tests. * Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools. * Continuously improve testing processes and frameworks in alignment with project and organizational goals. * Optional: Leverage **Azure Cloud Services** for testing and deployment processes where applicable. **Required Skills:** * 6+ years of experience in QA/testing roles. * Strong hands-on experience with **Cypress** and **Cucumber**. * Knowledge or hands-on experience with **Karate** framework. * Experience in using **XRay** for test case and test execution management within **Jira**. * Proficiency with **GitHub**, including version control and CI/CD pipeline integration. * Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. **Nice to Have:** * Experience working with **Azure cloud services**. **Working with Embitel** • Freedom to challenge norms, make mistakes, learn and grow • There is no ‘I’ in word ‘Team’ and no hierarchy at Embitel • Employees of Embitel are partners of our excellence and growth.
