Quality Control Coordinator

We’re looking for a **highly **motivated and meticulous Quality Control Coordinator**** to join our team and play a critical role in delivering flawless translations to our clients. **Why this role matters** ------------------------- As a Quality Control Coordinator, you are the **last line of defense** **before a project reaches the client** and the person responsible for approving the release of deliverables**.** You’ll ensure every document meets client requirements, industry regulations, and our own internal standards for quality, including accuracy, consistency, formatting, and more. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on **precision**, and takes pride in **catching what others might miss**. If you love fast-paced environments, collaborating with global teams, and ensuring exceptional quality—this role is for you. **Position responsibilities** ----------------------------- * Perform final quality checks on deliverables prior to project completion and authorize sign-off for delivery * Review documents for quality errors and inconsistencies with a strong focus on names, numbers, missing text, punctuation/spelling, and general * Leverage all appropriate supplementary materials (style guides, reference materials, glossaries, etc.) to ensure all deliverables align with client instructions * Collaborate closely with involved stakeholders such as internal teams (Production, Client Services, etc.) and external vendors (freelance translators, proofreaders, etc.) to resolve issues quickly and efficiently * Provide clear feedback that helps improve future project quality * Document issues through corrective action processes to drive continuous improvement * Deliver final projects to clients via their preferred platforms, following client guidelines and conducting quality checks on completeness to ensure all necessary files and materials are included in deliveries * Understand, uphold and enforce TransPerfect’s quality standards and those of our clients in front of Production teams and external vendors * Identify trends and patterns, analyze recurring errors and adopt an innovative mindset, proactively supporting quality-related improvement initiatives as needed * Complete any other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager/supervisor **What makes you a great fit** ------------------------------ You´re someone who: * Notes the smallest details others overlook * Works well under pressure and can manage multiple deadlines * Communicates clearly and concisely * Enjoys working collaboratively across teams * Loves creating polished, high quality deliverables * Adapts to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment **What you bring** ------------------ * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English ------------------------------------------------------------ * A Bachelor´s degree or its equivalent * Acute attention to detail * Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe tools **What would set you apart** ---------------------------- * Experience working in translation, localization or language services (or related studies) * Prior proofreading or copy-editing experience * Knowledge of translation technologies (CAT tools, Translation Memories, etc.) ### _TransPerfect provides equal employment opportunities to all individuals._ _We work alongside talented, passionate professionals in an environment that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous growth._ _We believe diversity drives stronger teams and better ideas and are committed to building an inclusive workplace where everyone feels empowered to do their best work._ ### _By applying, I confirm I have read and accept TransPerfect's Privacy Policy:_ [_https://www.transperfect.com/about/data-privacy-recruiting_](https://www.transperfect.com/about/data-privacy-recruiting)
