Quality Control Technician

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** * Conduct quality control tests on construction materials. * Document and report test results accurately. * Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. * Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues. * Maintain and calibrate testing equipment. **What Are We Looking For** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Excellent communication and documentation skills. * Proficiency with testing equipment and software. * Commitment to safety and quality standards. **Conditions of Employment** * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. * Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. * ACI Field Testing Grade 1 certification preferred, but required within the first 6 months of employment **Work Environment** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. **What We Offer** * $35.70 - $35.70 per hour * Union Position - Teamsters 174 * Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension * Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
