Auramarine employs over 130 people and has offices in Finland and China, additional service hubs in Singapore and the USA, and representatives in more than 25 countries. www.auramarine.com Quality Specialist for the Marine Industry We are looking for a Quality Specialist to join Auramarine and take responsibility for coordinating and developing quality management activities within our Finnish organization. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining, developing, and harmonizing our quality management system across the organization. You will work closely with different functions and help ensure that quality becomes an integral part of everyday operations. You will report directly to the Group Quality Director based in China and be responsible for quality-related activities in Finland. The Finnish organization consists of engineering, product development, sales, and business support functions, while manufacturing operations are located in China. At Auramarine, we design and deliver fuel supply systems that ensure efficient and reliable fuel management for various types of vessels and engines. Our systems handle multiple fuel types, including environmentally friendly fuels such as biofuels, methanol, and ammonia, as well as more traditional fuels like heavy fuel oil (HFO) and marine gas oil (MGO). Our lifecycle services ensure optimal system performance throughout their entire lifespan. These services include commissioning, inspections, maintenance, predictive spare parts management, modernizations, retrofits, and training. Auramarine’s office is located in Littoinen, on the border of Kaarina and Lieto, but we also work flexibly with partial remote work during the week. Key responsibilities As a Quality Specialist, you will act as the coordinator and facilitator of the company's quality management activities, ensuring that the quality management system operates effectively throughout the organization. Your main responsibilities will include: Streamlining current processes, working instructions and simplifying the operations management system and maintaining those Maintaining, developing, and continuously improving ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management systems Collaborating with the engineering team to improve engineering quality and support continuous improvement initiatives Supporting the handling of customer complaints and quality issues, particularly those related to European customers and suppliers Monitoring and following up quality objectives and key quality performance indicators Coordinating internal audits and preparing the organization for external audits Monitoring corrective and preventive actions and ensuring their effective implementation Providing quality-related training and guidance to employees across the organization Acting as an internal quality advisor and supporting departments in applying quality requirements in their daily work Harmonizing the quality management systems of Auramarine Europe and Auramarine Asia into one unified standard and operating model in close co-operation with Quality Director within upcoming years Required qualifications and skills A university degree in engineering or another relevant technical field Previous experience in quality management, quality systems, process development, or continuous improvement Good knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements; experience with ISO 14001 is considered an advantage Experience with audits, non-conformance management, corrective actions, or quality improvement activities Experience in engineering, technology, marine, or manufacturing industries Experience working in an international environment Strong process management and organizational skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Fluent Finnish and English language skills, both written and spoken Additional assets: Former knowledge about utilization of AI in process optimization IATF16949 internal auditor certificate To succeed in this role, you are analytical, systematic, and solution-oriented.
