Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.   **What You’ll Be Doing** * Operate loader equipment safely and efficiently to move and load materials * Inspect, maintain, and report equipment conditions to ensure reliable operation * Support production goals by supplying material to crushers, conveyors, and stockpiles * Follow all site safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment * Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily activities   **What Are We Looking For** * Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and confidently * Strong awareness of safety practices and commitment to following procedures * Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment * Skill in identifying equipment issues and reporting them promptly * Reliability, attention to detail, and readiness to learn site processes   **Conditions of Employment** * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check * Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing   **Work Environment** * Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level   **What We Offer** * $26.87 per hour * Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension * Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
