R&D Regional Systems Functional Expert

**Job Description:** **R&D Regional Systems Functional Expert – Mars Global Services – Queretaro, Mexico or Guararema, Brazil** In this role, you will be part of the Mars Global Services (MGS) R&D team, playing a fundamental role in ensuring the sustainability, operational excellence, and continuous optimization of our enterprise R&D systems and platforms across the region. You will act as the key functional bridge between Digital Technologies (DT) and business operations across Mars Snacking, Petcare, and Food segments. In a dynamic and collaborative environment, you will have the autonomy to translate business needs into technical solutions, empower user communities, and elevate system reliability and data governance to drive business growth. **What are we looking for?** **Essential Requirements (What is indispensable to get started):** * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field. * Proven experience supporting enterprise applications within R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, or Digital Technologies partnerships. * Solid analytical capability with a strong background in root cause analysis, incident resolution, and requirement gathering. * Proficiency in data analytics and automation tools, including Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) and advanced Excel. * Fluent English for daily interaction with global product owners, regional business teams, and technical stakeholders. **Desirable Requirements (Considered as differentials, but you can learn with us):** * Hands-on familiarity with specialized enterprise systems (such as Salesforce, Atlas, Nexus, Trinity, SQA, or major ERP platforms). * Experience designing curriculum and facilitating technical training sessions for key user communities. **What will be your key responsibilities?** * Serve as the primary functional expert for key users across the region, partnering with Digital Technologies to troubleshoot and resolve system incidents promptly. * Translate business requirements into functional design criteria, comprehensive test scripts, and validation protocols for new capabilities. * Validate system functionality through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Business Integration Testing (BIT), coordinating change rollouts across business units. * Design and deliver interactive training programs, fostering vibrant communities of practice to elevate regional user capability and system adoption. * Partner with global process owners to enforce data governance standards, eliminate compliance gaps, and ensure operational integrity across all platforms. * Champion continuous improvement initiatives (CIPs) by capturing user insights and turning them into scalable digital enhancements. **What can you expect from Mars?** * Work with over 150,000 diverse and talented Associates, all guided by The Five Principles. * Join a purpose-driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today. * Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University. * An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus. #LI-Onsite #LI-MR1
