**Summary** **Job Description:** **Rad Tech** **Full Time, First Shift – 9a-5:30p** **Call/Weekend/Holiday rotation required** Provides health care services applying pulsed x-ray energy to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner. **Job Duties:** * Verifies orders, patient name/birth date and history. * Performs/documents time out procedure for invasive procedures. * Performs routine diagnostic imaging, fluoroscopy, surgery imaging, ED/Urgent care imaging, and assist Radiologist and authorized providers with exams/procedures, as necessary. * Produce quality images for Radiologist’s review. * Must be able to complete warm up and QC on equipment (i.e. room checks, contrast reactions/infiltrates as required). **Requirements:** * Technical Diploma from Accredited School of Radiologic Technology * Current Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) License * Current License with the American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiography (R)Registry **Benefits:** * Tuition Assistance reimbursement program * Paid Time Off available for use upon hire * Company paid Maternity and Paternity Leave * Bereavement Leave (includes pets) * Employee Assistance Program * Retirement plans with company match ### _If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!_ ### Baptist Health is an _Equal Employment Opportunity_ employer.
