Radiation Therapist

**Summary** **Job Description:** **Radiation Therapist** **Full-Time, First Shift** Under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist, the radiation therapy technologist treats patients with ionizing radiation accurately and efficiently per physician’s prescription. **Job Duties:** * Administers ionizing radiation and consults with Radiation Oncologist regarding examinations as necessary. * Assists Radiation Oncologist in performing simulations and fabricating immobilization devices. * Stocks treatment rooms with linen and supplies and maintains knowledge of equipment in all areas. * Participates in the education of students of the Radiologic Technology Program and Radiation Therapy Program. **Requirements:** * Associate degree from an institution accredited by an agency that ARRT recognizes, or military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program required. * Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy required.   * American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration required. **Preferred Requirements:** * Experience using Aria and Varian linear accelerators. **Benefits:** * Tuition Assistance reimbursement program * Paid Time Off available for use upon hire * Company paid Maternity and Paternity Leave * Bereavement Leave (includes pets) * Employee Assistance Program * Retirement plans with company match ### _If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!_ ### Baptist Health is an _Equal Employment Opportunity_ employer.
