This role will primarily focus on tractor and skidsteer operation, fence building/repair and land and facility maintenance. Supplementally, this role will assist with cattle care when needed from the cattle crew. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include, but are not limited to, the following: * Land and Facility Maintenance * Building and repairing fences * Brush-hogging * Mowing, weed-eating, fence-row spraying * Basic facility maintenance * Hay Production * Equipment operation (tractors, skidsteers, sprayers, implements, etc.) * Basic equipment maintenance * Cattle Production * Feeding * Hauling * Gathering/sorting/shipping as needed **IMPORTANT TRAITS** * Positive attitude * Willingness to learn and try new things * Self-starter/problem solving ability * Attention to detail * Organization and cleanliness * Ability to work well alone and with the team **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** * This position will not have direct supervisory responsibility **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE** * **Required** * High School diploma * 3+ years of work experience * Able to pass background check and driving record check * **Preferred** * Equipment operation and basic maintenance * Hay production experience * Fence building experience * Cattle and equipment hauling experience (non-CDL) * Basic welding * Cattle care and handling experience _George’s is committed to providing reasonable accommodation to, among others, individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans.
